Homosassa

Cedar Key

The best kept secret in Florida fishing is the Nature Coast. Experience what "Old Florida," used to be like in the early days. As Florida's tourism grows we find the need to go where only the "locals" go. Owner & Founder of Florida Outdoor Experience, Captain Gray Drummond cut his teeth on the flats surrounding Cedar Key. Spend a day aboard his Hells Bay Marquesa as he takes you deep into the heart of the Nature Coast in search for Redfish. Whether your preference is to flyfish or throw artificial lures, you will not find a more knowledgeable guide in the area.

Waccasassa Bay

Waccasassa Bay Preserve State Park is a 30,784-acre salt marsh that stretches from Cedar Key and Yankee Town, and is only accessible by boat. Wooded islands surrounded by tidal creeks makes this area into the anglers perfect maze. Redfish, Tarpon, Black Drum & Trout are the main species you will target with your guide. The coastline in this area is so full of life and angling opportunity. While sight casting to tailing reds and black drum you may get a opportunity to cast at a rolling tarpon!

Bass Fishing at Drummond Pond

Experience the solitude and serenity of Bass fishing on Drummond Pond. Sight casting bass on fly and artificials in crystal clear fresh water is the perfect setup for any angler.
